Matthew Sprange, founder of Mongoose Publishing, has released State of the Mongoose 2011, his annual look at the table-top gaming industry, and his company's position within it. There is an RPG Geek discussion thread here.

Dungeonaday.com Closing

Super Genius Games have announced that Dungeonaday.com, their subscription-based adventure & dungeon design service, will be closing in April 2012. The venture was started by Monte Cook in 2009, but the site is currently running at a loss. Dungeonaday.com is not taking any new subscribers, but will honour existing subscriptions, or compensate subscribers through access to other Super Genius Games products.

First Gnome Stew guest article

The ENnie Award-winning blog Gnome Stew has published its first ever guest article, written by the winner of the March of Dimes charity auction. JavaDragon's article, Don’t Waste My Time: Tips for Keeping Your Games Moving, is an interesting read on ensuring your gaming sessions don't stall, and is up to Gnome Stew's usual high standard.
