We need some RPG geeklists, especially now that the beta is running in full swing and things are filling up with real data.

So, here's a geeklist on a a random theme.

RPGs that predominantly feature anthropomorphic animals, particularly for the PCs.

Sorry there's no pic for this one yet...In Silvervine, you can play as "Animos Animalia," which are regular animals with human intelligence, or as "Blooded Animalia," which are anthropomorphic animals. In the game I'm running, we have one human, one fox-blooded, one cat-blooded (large breed), and one Gator-blooded. The rules don't actually have Gator-blooded as a race, but there are easy to follow guidelines for creating other blooded animalia races, as well as other races in general.

Besides animalia, there are the standard Dwarves, Elves, Humans, and other fantasy races.

Has furry races (foxwing - winged fox people, tigreans, das karr - fox people without wings, vermites - rat people).

Also, characters are shapeshifters so even non-furry races might be able to shift into a furry form. Some shapes are unicorns, pegasi, werecats, griffin, dragon, and others.

(Thanks to sbszine for pointing out that DS is on RPGG as I had only previously found the BGG entry in my search)

I did some card design for this game way back and was in the process of creating a PBM version when things went to heck.

I'd been poking BGG to get Dragon Storm listed as a RPG as thats really what it is. It just happens to be in a CCG format. The only other one being Ruins World.

Note that the game is created by Susan Van Camp. Known for her Tales of the Anniverse and Varcels Vixens comic books.

The only player race in the game that didnt have some sort of animal, scaly or anthro for, was the orc.

Humans could be Dragons or Werewolves (and later Gargoyles)
Elves could be Unicorns and Pegasus (and later Werewolves, Griffons and Centaurs)
Dwarves could be Gargoyles
Tigreans could become Dragons and Werecats (essentially non-morph battlecats.)
Foxwings and Daskar could be Dragons and Werewolves

Thats where the core game ended. Theres been a few more races and forms added in since like the Phoenix and Ratkin.

Dragons eventually became the ubermensch able to just about assume the form of every other race and I believe their true forms too. Elf, Dwarf, Ork and so on.

This is very close to Redwall (with the serial numbers filed off for legal purposes), but can be used for other fiction, comics and animated cartoons involving woodland animals who are basically humans in animal form.

Based loosely on the Duncton Woods books. Players are more or less non-anthro animals. Simmilar to Bunnies & Burrows for that aspect.

I could probably add another dozen or three games if we get allowed to add homebrew games to BGG...

I was going to add Dragon Storm but it is listed as a board game.

I footed the bill for some cards for this.
DragonStorm is indeed a RPG. Its just that the BGG members (And a large portion of the RPGG members) oft havent a single damn clue what an RPG is. Its also a CCG though and one of the few to ever try it. Great game as long as you avoid the RPGA-esque Guild.

Hm, when I tried to add it at the time of my original post, it didn't come up. Must have misspelled it. Thanks! I put a link to the RPGG entry on the BGG entry (the way there is a link to the BGG entry on the RPGG entry).
