US - RPG Chain of Generosity

This is the United States version of the RPG Chain of Generosity. There are chains running for the following other regions:
CAN - RPG Chain of Generosity European RPG - Chain of Generosity AU/NZ Chain of RPG Generosity.
(if you want to add a brand new geeklist for your region, feel free)
Have a duplicate RPG item you wouldn't mind parting with? Want to give a cool RPG item to someone who wants/needs it? Then you're a perfect candidate for the RPG Chain of Generosity! Pioneered on the BoardGame side back in 2007, the Chain of Generosity concept is simple.
The official rules:
1. You must comment to the item in question indicating you wish to be in the drawing to receive it in order to be eligible to win.
2. If you win one, you MUST post an item of your own to give away in this fashion. If you don't like that idea, don't play. Please do not wait until you receive your win before offering a game of your own - its all about generosity.
3. Set a deadline of around 7 to 14 days for your item. State your deadline clearly when you offer the item up and stick to the deadline. One exception: if only one person has expressed interest in your item, you may extend the deadline up to 5 additional days. Stick to this second deadline (even one person who wants the item and will appreciate it will keep the chain alive).
4. Use the Geek Randomizer or some other fair method to draw a winner from those interested. You can use the 1customX{...} die roller to pick a name. For example, if three people (Tom, Dick and Harry) are interested in your item you can edit your post and insert a ROLL and use: 1custom3{Tom;Dick;Harry} to pick a winner.
5. In the unlikely event that no offers are made on your item within the deadline, add a sweetner to the offer. If even one person has expressed interest, you must honor that - do not replace the item if someone has expressed interest.
6. At this time, we are not allowing new chains to form. 8 Chains is a good number - we'll run with this for a while. If you have an item you want to give away as part of the chain of generosity, put yourself in an existing chain and if you win, you can extend the chain by offering your item(s) up. The idea is to keep existing chains going as long as possible!
7. Sender pays shipping, no exceptions. If you can't afford to ship do not participate (Media Mail here in the US will allow several books to ship anywhere in the US for under US$5).
Each person that lists an item (either a seed item or a continuation of an existing chain) will receive:
- RPGG +1 Chainmail of Generosity Participant
But please contact me for the chain microbadge. I find it hard to keep up with all chains at all times
Let's get the US chain going!

Chain - Oh The Horror!!
Okay, so I have this huge list of items, including Shriek/Bloode Island (1PG Double Feature). Sorry for the blurry aspect of these photos - the lighting was bad in the room in which I took them. Most of these items are in very-good condition. One of them has water damage on the cover (Blood Royal). Here are the pics and a list:
Lost Prehistorica Blood Royal Ghosts of the Lady Grace LC1: The Lost City (Revised) Cugel's Compendium of Indispensable Advantages Tales from the Empire Carnival of Swords: An Adventurer's Guide to Old Coryan Arrowflight Diomin Diomin: State of the Nations - Volume One: The Gadianti & Hearthom Acceptance of Fate Dacartha Prime
Bob, Lord of Evil The Second World Sourcebook (d20 3.0 Edition) Rapture: The Second Coming (2nd edition) The Compleat Arduin Book 2: Resources Book of the Spirits Narrative Combat Island Nations: A World Resource for Arrowflight Morningstar (hardbound) Akrasia, Thief of Time Secrets of the Ancients The Horror Beneath The Fantastic Adventure
Denizens of Earthdawn Volume Two Coin's End Tsar Rising Shriek/Bloode Island (1PG Double Feature) Wonders Out of Time I3: The Dogs of War: Felsentheim (Death in the Treklant Part 3) (d20 version) Scarred Lands Gazetteer: Termana Book of Eldritch Might III: The Nexus The Of Gods and Men Gamemasters Screen Librum Equitis, Volume I (Second Edition) Return of the Stormrider Uresia: Grave of Heaven (d20)
Dire Spirits Interludes: Brief Expeditions to Bluffside Starfire rules only, in shrink, not sure which version Captain's Log #20: The Eye of the Storm Operation Dead Drop Soap Stormwatch Book of Fiends, Volume One: Legions of Hell Song of Storms The Dancing Hut Timeship Viking Age
Here's how this works... If you win, you will get as many of these as I can fit into a medium flat rate box. With these size books that is usually between 8 and 12. If you pick all the thick ones, it will be closer to 7 or 8, if you pick all thin ones, you may get 12-14.
When you win, I will ask you to rank the items in the order in which you want them. I will start putting them into the box and will put as many in as I can fit and then I will ship it to you. I will geekmail you with a list of what I got to fit in the box when I mail it.
Does that make sense?
I will draw this on 2/29 - Happy Bidding!

Chain: Star Siege
This Entry Is Now CLOSED
The winner of this chain gets to choose from one of three different exciting prizes!
First is the title item of this entry, a physical copy of my precioussss, AMBER Diceless Role-Playing.
It is in exquisite condition, with just some coloration by age on the edges of the pages. My other copy is a bit more, um, worn, shall we say, so I'm keeping that one and giving you the good one!
Now that may not strike your fancy, since clearly you are a man or woman of discriminating tastes, so you already own the physical copy of this book (or two copies, like me). Well, there's still something here for you! I will purchase you a PDF copy of either AMBER Diceless Role-Playing
or Shadow Knight!
This way you can access it no matter where you are. I will send you the link that is good for one download from Drive Thru RPG, so we avoid any of the touchy issues with handing off digital copies of books.
If for some reason this doesn't strike your fancy (since you're either a non-believer who has yet to be converted to Amber OR you already have all the PDFs too), then I offer up my last old school item, S1: Tomb of Horrors.
It is the 1981 reprint shown above, in good condition, with a bit of a crease in the upper right hand corner of the cover. The cover is, of course, detached, to allow for use as a map. The rest of the module is in excellent condition.
Now, I am including one extra rule for this particular giveaway, since the chain I won was absurdly generous. This entry will have three winners. Yes, you heard me right.
Three Winners
I will give away each of these items! The primary winner will get his or her choice of the three (and will be the one to continue the chain), the secondary winner will get the choice of the last two, and the tertiary winner will get the last prize.
Now, just in case you are the secondary or tertiary winner and only wanted one of these find prizes that is already gone, you're probably thinking you don't want to take something you don't want when someone else wants it more. If that is the case and you choose to pass on your winning, I will offer a consolation prize of 10 Geekgold. It's not much, but it's a small thank you for making sure these items find a good home.
Act Fast! Winners will be announced on Wednesday, 22 February AD 2012!
Which is today, so our first winner is
Simon Silva Jr.

Second winner is

and... I'm feeling this is light, I'll think of something by March 3rd or feel free to suggest something on the lines of a introductory set to do a PbF. Maybe NIS Pathfinder Beginner Box? but I rather have something else.
The Box Set. Should be complete, I lent it a friend and he couldn't get his kids into it. I haven't open it since I got it back. My kids wasn't interested in this one either. They liked REAL monsters.

These adventures are for D&D but of course you could run them in Pathfinder or most any D20 based system.
I don't know exactly which ones you'll get as lots are arriving two or three times a week. There could be a mix of Fantasy Flight and AEG items here, but you'll get at least 10 total mini-modules.
Drawing will be on Thursday March 8 by the geekroller of course.

I'm offering up the entirety of Paizo's Serpent Skull Adventure Path. You'll get six adventures to take your heroes from a shipwreck to the depths of the jungle to the city of the devious serpent people to the sanctum of their god - and from 1st to 15th level!
Included in this offering is:
Pathfinder #37: Souls for Smuggler's Shiv Pathfinder #38: Racing to Ruin Pathfinder #39: City of Seven Spears Pathfinder #40: Vaults of Madness Pathfinder #41: The Thousand Fangs Below Pathfinder #42: Sanctum of the Serpent God
All are in almost-new condition from a smoke-free home. Correction! The first has some wear on the upper left corner - nothing major, but not "almost new". The others are in great shape. Sorry about the early misinformation!
Need more enticement? Our fearless leader Dave Bernazzani is running this campaign - and if it's good enough for him, it must be good enough for you!
I'll roll the virtual die on 3/21, so long as the snake people don't eat me first.

CONGRATS TO MasterGeek!!
Chain: Star Siege
OK, hopefully I do this right, as it's the first time I've done one of these.
I'm putting up a copy of The Dying Earth RPG, which is a bit of an odd beast - designed by Robin Laws to encourage the sort of repartee and wordplay seen in the Vance stories, there are game mechanics built in to reward appropriate usage of florid verbiage . . . Note that this is a new copy, still in shrink from Pelgrane Press (a 2nd copy ended up in my library somehow - which is good for you)!
I'll also throw in 1st Ed. Savage Worlds
This is in good shape, as it's only been used a couple of times.
and the Evernight adventure for same.
Only note on Evernight is that the binding wasn't very good, and one entire side of it is broken . . . it doesn't affect the readability at all, but I don't want it to be a surprise to the eventual winner.
I plan to draw on Sunday, 18 March (towards the end of spring break here in Texas - I'm a teacher, so this gives me a chance to handle this while not keeping up with classes).
Good luck to everyone interested!

CHAIN: Save vs. Death
CLOSED!!!
After going through my gaming goodies, it looks like I may have done too good of a job weeding out my collection! So this time around, I'm going to give some options.
Option 1: Death by 1,000 (Paper) Cuts The CrossRoads of Eternity RPG Core Rule Book in shrink!
Mortal Coil in excellent condition
UNTIL: Defenders Of Freedom for Champions (HERO System 5) in near mint condition
*******
Option 2: Lead Poisoning! I've got a pretty big collection of gaming miniatures going back to the 1980's in lead and pewter. I have recently come to the realization that I'll never have the time or inclination to paint them up or use them in play... So I thought they should go to a home where they wouldn't be neglected!
Give me an idea of what you want, and I'll send you a bunch of my figures. Most of what I have are fantasy figures from Grenadier Models, with a few Ral Partha and RAFM thrown in. I've got a pretty good balance of characters and monsters, as well as some modern era figures. Message me with any questions.
*******
Option 3: Hit Man for Hire Where I live there is used book store chain with a fairly decent-sized RPG section... And there are 6 branches within a reasonable driving range.
On top of that, I just so happen to know a guy... He's a local gamer/collector/used game dealer with a house that's got games in every corner.
Give me a short hit list, with your minimum acceptable condition (remember, these are USED items), and I'll do the legwork to dig up a thing or two you've been looking for. Don't expect that I'll be able to get you Dungeons & Dragons (Woodgrain Box & White Box Sets), but I should be able to turn up something reasonably hard-to-find.
Failing that, I'll send you a gift certificate to Noble Knight or a similar site of your choice. Deal?

CHAIN: HELMS DEEP
CLOSED Working on the virtual die roller and will edit post soon.
I don't know what people are looking for, so you tell me. On 4/8/12 I will roll the virtual die and one winner will get:
Your choice of anything in my RPG 'owned' list that will fit into a flat rate USPS shipping box. If fewer items are chosen I will ship more economically.
Take a look at my list of owned items (images should be of the versions I have). If there is one or more item(s) you want, just reply 'IN' below. You can have as many items that will fit into that flat rate USPS box. I should have updated the list and all version info.
Just respond 'IN' if you so choose. When a winner is chosen I'll ask for a list of items. If a large number of item are chosen I will ask the winner to prioritize them in case all of them don't fit.
Clear as mud? Question on condition of an item? GM me and I'll get back to you as quickly as I can. Some items are in great condition, some not so much. The older an item the more likely it will have wear, especially modules (e.g. Tomb of Horrors cover is torn in two but the pages are ok).
GOOD LUCK!
