I have the whole set of the original books (including the supplements); however, the impetuousness of youth led me to color all of the artwork in ... with magic marker no less and put textured contact paper on the outside of each one. This has essentially left me with something with no real resale value but a lot of nostalgia.

Post the rest of your "augmented" illustrations! I find this one charming.

I did. They are languishing in GeekMod.

The rest were denied. Oh well, at least the geek modders got to see them.

Put them in your gallery and then let us know about them here. We'll take a look.

Ah, yes. The abuse we heaped on our games when young. For some reason I thought my Chivalry & Sorcery Sourcebook (1st Edition) book would be better in a three-ring binder and cut it apart to store it that way. At least it lays flat, but fortunately I found a second rulebook that was still bound.

Guilty of doing the binder thing. I did add them to my gallery. I'm kind of surprised they were denied. They are not rules scans nor are they the original unaltered image.

I found the art in the original books to be wonderful in their simplicity and, at least for me, they recall an earlier age. I had the same reaction to the artwork in Arcanum (which I'm currently constructing).
