One of the earliest science-fiction role-playing games published. Players over the years have noted that various aspects of the game seemed to be based on Star Trek. The designer has since admitted that Starships & Spacemen was originally designed as a Star Trek game but since FGU could not afford the license, the names of races, etc., were changed for publication.

Since the inspiration is strong, this will be uplinked to the Star Trek family.
