This is another revival of roleplaying in the Monster Maker world. More like the first Monster Maker RPG "Holy Axe" than its successor "Monster Maker Resurrection", "Legend" was created wholly by the card game creator Gin'ichiro Suzuki, with all art by "September Princess" Kugatsuhime. The game is heavily combat-oriented, comes with cut-out cardboard standees and hex-maps for board, making it look a bit more like a board game version of a video game RPG in the Japanese tradition (Dragon Quest/Final Fantasy) and is much more closely tied to the legendary characters of the Monster Maker world than just a generic adventuring in Wolflend. The goal of the game is to get a character to level 20, making him/her a "legend".
