Kim Mohan (born May 4, 1949 in Chicago, Illinois) is an American author, editor, and designer of role-playing game books from Williams Bay, Wisconsin. In 1979, he was hired by TSR Periodicals headquarters in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, working at Dragon magazine as an assistant editor until 1981 when he was promoted to editor-in-chief. He left in 1986 but returned again as editor-in-chief from 1993 to 1995.
Mohan was also the lead editor of the Dungeons & Dragons 3rd Edition design project during the first half of its design phase. He also performed managerial duties for Strategy & Tactics and Amazing Stories magazines and edited Saga of Old City, Gary Gygax's first novel. Mohan has also been an editor for Lucasbooks.
