Erlend Sand Bruer (b. 1984) is interested in what happens when one gives the players very little room for new ideas, and keep the roleplaying within strict structures. The Father is only one of the games where this has been explored, and he is working on several other projects. Erlend happens to be the leader of the Norwegian association for gaming and fandom, and fights to make the government more receptive to new forms of culture. Erlend is also doing a masters in social psychology. He is not a Freudian.
