“Jaguiler” is the pen name of Jacqueline Aguilera, a literary artiste living in Texas who enjoys spinning tales of the dark. She is also a poet whose work has been a part of one of the exhibits displayed at FotoFest 2002 and published through Houston Women’s Works Project 2001. She created and directed a poetry performance group for the Charnele Brown Acting Academy, published a vampire series entitled “Teeth Bite,” and is a regular reader at Voices Breaking Boundaries Open Mic, Nuestra Palabra Open Mic and radio show, the After Hours radio show, and at the Bard’s Banquet of Fright. From being the only female member of a Dungeons & Dragons club while in her teens to giving life to the undead through her mind’s eye, she has enjoyed challenging people to journey to the place where fantasy and reality become a blur.
