Characters in CZFT have four Attributes: Strength, Constitution, Dexterity, and Intelligence. These Attributes are randomly generated by 1D10+8 each for humans. High Attribute Scores (14 and above) yield action bonuses. Characters have Skill Points derived from Intelligence and distributed into available Skills.
Most non-combat game rolls involve rolling 2D10 and attempting to "roll under" the relevant attribute (modifiers may apply). Hit Points are derived from Constitution. Combat takes place in rounds; each opponent can take one action in each round. Actions happen in initiative order. Combat rolls are made with D100 against the relevant combat Skill. Called shots are allowed but yield a penalty.
