In "輪廻戦記Xenoscape", the players are reincarnated persons and have to fight various groups who are trying to influence history from the back.
And in order to fight them, the players remember their previous existences, gaining new powers through their awakening.
Their powers are determined by the two factors of the 7 "pieces" and 17 "aspects".
The piece is the power a character has to cut a path through destiny, and also the character's style. Characters can use special skills depending on their piece which are compared to chess pieces.
In addition, corresponding to 17 celestial bodies, the aspect is a character's destiny, meaning the various special powers that reincarnated have and their lineage.
Characters can use special abilities based on their aspect.
Dual Layer Scenario
Scenarios for this RPG are made up of two layers overcoming time and space.
One layer is as characters in the present. And another is the layer of visions of previous lives that appear in dreams.
Those two get deeply entangled as they progress at the same time - . That is "輪廻戦記Xenoscape".
The thing representing the previous lives of the characters are idea spirits - "I's".
Various famous people from history. Gods and heroes who have left their names in legends and tradition. Of course, it is also okay for them to be original persons.
With each scenario, or via awakening points (experience value) you can remember and gain new I's.
You can squeeze the character in one I's and have it develop, or you can also proceed by dividing things up using various.
