The Silrin core rules are composed of 3 softcover books slipped into the gamemaster screen.
The first book (8 pages) contains the Universom rules.
The second book (28 pages) describes the world of Silrin, with a map of the continent, chapters about each race, fauna, and additional rules for character creation (allowing to create a character of any of the four sentient races), gear, vehicles, special powers like the Celnack nobles' ability to fly, social statuses...
The third book (also 28 pages) is a scenario ("l'héritage d'Arthron") with pre-generated characters, a Celnack noble and his retainers who go on a quest to retrieve three artifacts to fulfill a prophecy.
The game also contains a character sheet and the gamemaster's screen.
