As publisher she acquires books and oversees the editorial and book production of about 65 titles a year under four imprints, including Lawrence Hill Books, Ball Publishing, and Zephyr Press, along with managing an editorial, production, and publicity staff of 13. Cynthia founded the award-winning For Kids series, A Kids Guide series, and the Oddball Travel series and has acquired many perennial bestsellers, such as Backyard Ballistics, My Bloody Life, and World War II for Kids. She acquires children's nonfiction, popular science, how-to, history, autobiography, and travel.
