Longtooth Studios is the professional and creative outlet of Brian Davison, and others who contribute to various projects from time to time. It is primarily the name through which I apply my gaming projects, but it also serves as a design business when needed.
As a gamer, I first played Dungeons and Dragons in the early eighties. I was fascinated with the miniatures, and the ability to unleash my young imagination into a game that seemed to have no boundaries. It wasn’t until later that decade that I would buy my own books, and start running my own games. I have ran and played in countless games since. I have made close friends across the table over the years, and taught scores of people how to play the game. Even now, I run a weekly game, and have the distinct honor of passing the torch to my teenage son, Michael, who seems to be almost as captivated by the game as his old man.
As a designer, I started learning about graphic design about five years ago, and have been designing professionally for about three years. For the last two years I have been attending classes online at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh.
I am an advocate of Tabletop RPGs and gaming stores, and do what I can where I can to encourage the growth of the hobby. From this perspective I have been getting more into the industry hoping to provide great gaming content that encourages more people to play.
