Virtual Seattle (VS) was the RPGA Network's Living campaign set in the Shadowrun game system. All RPGA members (Fellowship-level and Guild-level) could create Virtual Seattle characters and play in the Virtual Seattle adventures offered each year. These adventures were available at conventions and at retail game days.
The year is 2060. Magic is as real as the mean streets of the mega-sprawls. Corporations call the shots while nailing each other through covert operatives in cutthroat competition. Flesh and machines have merged - the street samurai with his smartguns and impossibly fast reflexes, the decker who can plug his own brain into the world-wide computer network, the rigger who links his mind to his vehicle and takes hairpin turns at fantastic speeds. And you're a part of this wired world, where corporate skyscrapers glitter over the dark shadows they cast. You live in those shadows. You're a shadowrunner - a street operative.
You may be human or troll, dwarf or elf. You may throw fireballs, pull out your trusty Uzi, or slice through computer security with a program as elegant and deadly as a stiletto. No matter what, you get the job done. You're a shadowrunner - a professional. You don't just survive in the shadows - you thrive there... for now.

Major Black need her found before her family renunion in 42 hours or her family will start asking questions that the UCAS Special Forces Command (SFC) don't want asked. King Cobra is activated - find Sunday and get her to the reunion on time!
A Whole New Brawl Game by Stuey McCune/Stu The Tall. You normally go into a Shadowrun expecting to be screwed by the run and/or the Johnson. Remember that VS needs only the characters you bring yourselves, so there were no characters to absorb. Stuey's Johnson was mean and tightfisted (pleasantly unexpected). The run, while giving nothing away, was fairly standard although there was an inordinate amount of pre-planning that we went into, we just didn't want to fire a shot and get the bonus. The nice thing about the run was that we had a 6 hour window to complete it and this six hours gave the game three distinct feels. Before the game, during the game or *just* after the game. Each scenario would have a different feel to it - our being sneakier, I guess - and that makes it somewhat rare. Stuey is a new Virtual Seattle Designer as as his first VS module I'd say, well done. VS03-SA03: Become the Hunted (King Cobra #1) by Carl Buehler (3rd edition): Someone has convinced elements of the UCAS military that the best way to combat freelance shadowrunners is with their peers. It's your job to show Major Black and Staff Sargent Sunday what you can do in a series of military exercises. No need to worry chummer, the military promises not to play rough even though medevac has been promised.

Carpe Tigris by Chris Maxfield and Mark Somers: Somethin' seems to be buggin' Claudia Tyger. But null perspiration, chummers. She's chilled and she's organised a meet with you to discuss a job she's scored. In 2050, a team of runners performed a data steal on a megacorp facility in Tocoma that resulted in unfortunate, unintentional, third party casualties, some fatal. Two of the casualties were the wife and the younger daughter of Edmund Kim, a young and ambitious financial expert. No one was ever bought to justice for these deaths. The time has come.

Disappearing Act by Stephen Gabriel: The players are contacted by Claudia in the late hours of the work day, around 5am. She has a Johnson who needs a quick job accomplished; the players have roughly about 12 to 14 hours to do a clean up operation. The players are to meet the Johnson at the U-Store-All just south of the airport.

VS02-SA09: Don't be a Dave (Dave Runn Saga #3) by Rich Osterhout (2nd edition): A "satisfied customer" comes back to hire Claudia's runners for another run - Can Dave Runn stay out of trouble for once? This scenario is the third installment of adventures in the Dave Runn Saga, which began with See Dave Runn and Run Dave Runn. It is suggested to play this scenario apart from the first two to account for the passage of time.

Gangbusters by Doug Smith (3rd edition): A war between two gangs brings opportunity to Claudia and her runners. One of the gangs is being backed with nuyen, toys, and cyberware. The other wishes you to find out who the mysterious backer is and help level the playing field. The opportunity for exercising some of a runner's more energetic skills is high. Run at MegaCon (Orlando) February 10thh-11th, 2001.
Good Intentions by Stephen Gabriel: A body was found in the harnou, and the Johnson who wants to hire you has a personal interest in tracking down the killer. Nuyen is nuyen, so this little run shouldn't stress you too much. Ask a few questions, lean on a few witnesses, get the truth. Easy.
Great White North/Beaver Hunt by Peter Bangarth: Back in the days of Virtual Seattle, I wrote some modules for the final series. One that didn't get published in time was a kidnapping of Claudia by agents of The Blind Man. She was taken to Toronto and being psycho-drained in the back lot of a movie studio. The powers-that-were wanted to call it "Great White North", but I liked my draft title better - "Beaver Hunt". And I got to flesh out vorpal beavers, too.

VS03-PL03 Shadow War: Mistaken Identity by ?: A local club owner is getting some stiff competition from a new rival. A simple business delay for the new club would make your employer very happy, but as any good Shadowrunner knows, nothing is ever simple. This scenario is the third installment in the Shadow War story arc. Run at MegaCon, February 27th - March 2nd, 2003.

Some Kid's Parents by Stephen Gabriel (3rd Edition): Somebody stole the Johnson's dolly and it's become a real pain in the neck. She knows who has it and where it's at, now all she need is someboby to bring her dolly back. A sequel to Some People's Kids.

Something Old, Something New by ?: Word gets around the streets sooner or later, and for a runner of your reputation, usually sooner. Your contact has arranged a meet and greet with a new Johnson who claims to have valuable information on the Blind Man. This scenario is designed to be run in an eight-hour time slot and for characters of Elite level. Characters with less than 200 Karma will find this scenario EXTREMELY challenging. Run at MegaCon 2003 as a Prime Runner event.
Stalking the Stalkers by Stephen Gabriel: From a player's description after MichiCon 1996: "Stalking the Stalkers" was a combat blood bath. I have never played Virtual Seattle before and only Shadowrun maybe three times in my life, so I am far from an expert on Shadowrun. This event had little to no role-playing possibility. There was one nasty combat right after another. The party was hosed even-though there were experienced Shadowrun players present. Our Judge knew the system vary well and did a good job taking care of the tremendous combat scenes and I would hate to see a novice Shadowrun Game Master attempt to run this event in four hours. The game lasted about 30 minutes longer than it should have. I would not recommend this event unless you have a good SR Judge like we did. We made 16000 new yen apiece, I have no idea if this is good or not. If it wasn't for the several spellcasters in our group, over half the Group would have died and the rest would have been forced to run away. Play at your own risk.This adventure was also run at Shorecon'98, September 17th-20th, 1998.

A team of runners intercepted a package, but the Johnson fumbled the ball. Now, you've been brought in to clean up the mistake. A one session Virtual Seattle game for 4 - 6 runners, called in as part of a specialist team.
What If They Get Off the Isle by Ed De Jesus (2nd edition): Shadowrunners on vacation - that will be the day, but what else could drag a Tyger team down into the Caribbeab League, unless it's about another big payday.
