So what's different about the deluxe edition PHB? Just wondering.

*Different, shiny cover
*Incorporates the first couple of errata
*Slightly thicker (heavier paper stock)
*Silver page edges
*Page of tabs you can stick on different sections

In short not much. If you can find it on sale for the same price or just slightly more than the regular edition (or win it in a raffle like I did) I would say it is worth having over the regular. But at regular prices it's not worth the extra cost.

Thanks for the information. I was just curious mostly. The regular edition is fine by me. I'm not really a deluxe kind of guy.

The tabs are pretty hot but you could get tabs from another source too.

The Deluxe Edition is in some ways inferior. Does not include some errata that made the latest print run. Also, the ink is "not quite dry" you might say. If you put your hand on it too long you might smear it.

I have the Deluxe and did not find either issues to be a bother.
