Hi

Here's a hack of 3:16 that's inspired by Valve's Left 4 Dead video game.

Instead of being colonial marines, the players are cast as four survivors of a zombie apocalypse. You need to get to safe houses and ultimately rescue. You'll also need to blow away hordes of Infected, and Special Infected such as the Boomer, Tank and Witch. Each character also has a Personal Goal that they need to accomplish en route to rescue.

The system is pretty much the same: Strengths and Weaknesses are replaced by Flashbacks, and the equipment matches exactly the equipment of the survivors from the video game. Other than that it's 3:16, so it's fast and furious.

You can download the full game here, and the ZIP file contains:

* The game text
* Character Sheets
* GM Sheets
* A Fight Sheet
* Instructions for quick start play

Please note that since this is a hack of 3:16, you will need a copy of that game in order to play.

Cheers
Pete

The link here is no longer valid. Does anyone have this file, or can direct me to a new download host?

Good suggestion.

I haven't done that because the game uses IP that's owned by Valve. The game blatantly uses that IP without any permission from Valve, and it's for that reason that I've not uploaded the file for hosting on RPG Geek.

Maybe it's cool to do that? I'm hosting the file on Box.net, and it's easy enough to take down if Valve objected. The game is free, and it's hardly setting the world on fire, so maybe I'm just being weak.

Let me know, and if so I'll upload the game to the Files section.

Cheers
Pete
