Green Ronin announced today that Dragon Age is sold out at the distributor level. If you want it sooner than later, grab it now.

*Bump* for an awesome game!
FYI, Dragon Age is all sold out at my FLGS so I resorted to buy the PDF's. And I went to staples and printed them off. On black & white it doesn't look half bad actually, very readable.

But it has beardless dwarves. That is just wrong. So very wrong (except for the women--that is fine and preferred).

I look forward to reviews. From the one I found, the game has no gm support. That would be an instant deal breaker for me.

Coming from WFRP 3e I was really excited to see some simplicity thrown into the mix. There is enough crunch where you need it and I really like the D6 system, dragon dice and stunts. It shows that you can still get a lot out of D6 system, no need for D20's!
I think this adventure is good for people who are more about the story and less about the crunch.
The initial adventure is pretty good, and I think there is a TON of GM support for any GM who has played the RPG.
If you haven't you should.
If you don't like playing crpgs, go get the novel based off the book.
Either way, the rules are simple enough and there is more then enough lore and fan supplements out already considering the game has been out for only 2 months.

A ton? Wow. Heh.
Does it offer rules/guidelines/whatever on how to create a proper encounter for a group of pc's?
Thanks.

Bit of a late reply here...

About half of the Game Master's Guide is dedicated to offering help on the various aspects of Game Mastering and how to create an adventure and so on.
I don't think there is an actual system for balancing adversaries, like you have it in D&D 3 or 4, for example. The relative power of the adversaries is not measured (i.e. no Challenge Rating as in D&D). It does require some guesswork. But it should not be too difficult to do so with a little experience.

Virtually every male dwarf in the video game has a very full beard. I've not inspected the RPG version but I can't imagine they changed that detail and the dwarf on the cover has a beard.

A fair number of the ones in the video game are beardless, especially the casteless.

You gotta earn the beard!
