Do Butlers really have 2d6 Will, or is that a misprint? That's of the charts compared to other stats.

Yep, it is how it is printed.
As the advantages state:
● Butlers are strong. Their attributes are higher, and they can use special Butler Powers.
Not to mention, you have to remember how butlers are usually portrayed in anime. They are the rock when all else is chaos. Usually the most exasperation they show is a small puff of breath as they sigh while the house falls around them. Plus, they usually come up with a plan that no one else thought of, making everyone else stop and wonder why they didn't think of it first. ^_^

I noticed their stats were higher, but 2d6 is very different from 2d6 / 2. The example butler does have 8 Will though, so that proves it, as he can only get up to 7, even with Veteran.
I'm looking forward to playing this quite a bit. I like the random. Normally, I hate random in games. I'm always leaning towards point-buy systems instead of random generations and the like. However, this game is so random, it lets me just say, "to hell with it," and go for broke.
The one pet-peeve I might still alter though is how stats go up. I don't like it when "doing fun stuff," and "raising stats," comes from the same pool. It means those who have less fun (use less weirdo favor powers) also have higher stats. I might turn that on its head and have a separate "Pride," pool one spends from to raise their stats. Pride goes up as Favor is spent (even lost... tee hee hee).
