I've been given clearance to post the top 3 for each of our Golden Geek categories for 2010. These are the top placements in each of the five categories we had this year. They are in alphabetical order. The winners have already been determined for the RPG side and voting is closed but due to tradition will not be revealed until November 17th (during BGG con and simultaneously on the forums here).
Congratulations to all those on the short list below!

A to bad none of the 24 hour rpg contest winners have made it. And where is fear the boot podcast?
But otherwise, congratulations to the shortlisted finalists.

Don't worry about us. We already made it by finishing our games.
I'm surprised that literally not a single product I voted for made the top 3...

All of September was used to gather nominations - and the 10 nominees that went into a full month of October voting were all worthy candidates and really quite excellent products/podcasts top to bottom. The three you see above for each category are what the 'Geek community considered the best of an already great group of nominees.

BGG con (held in Texas November 17th) is where they hold the Geekies and announce the winners. For now, the best we can do is release the top 3 in each category (in alphabetical order so as not to give any winners away).

The VSCA would like to thank everyone that voted for Diaspora! Honestly, losing to Dresden Files or Fiasco would be an honour, and winning over either slightly embarrassing. But, you know, not so embarrassing that we won't hoot and drink.
Who am I kidding, we'll do that anyway.
Kudos to all involved -- that's a hot list.

It did not make the top 3, however, in the final estimation of the Geek community. No award list is going to please everyone - but I think this list is solid and I'm proud of the community here for their selections.

These are great results, mostly because they're pretty close to the way I voted.
