The Keeper: Me
The Investigators: Zach (Professer Roberts) Mark (Freddy Denton) Jake (Felicia Fancybottom) Jacob (Justinian Fox) Ben (Bucky Forkwine)
The Year is 1925,
the Investigators are sitting at the Hotel Miskaatonic enjoying their breakfast. The mailman comes in and heads to the front desk. The Investigators send Bucky to go get the mail. Bucky walks up to the mailman and asks for the mail for everyone. Bucky comes back with a letter from a Mr. Rupert Merriweather, he opens the letter to find that their old professor (Rupert) is on his deathbed. The letter tells them to come to St. Mary's hospital Thursday at 1. They deiced to go this day. (Wednesday)
St. Mary's Hospital: 1925 1PM
The group asks at the front desk what his room number is. She tells them to go to the third floor, first door on the left. They walk up the stairs to find the door ajar. (Yes they made jokes about the door being a jar)
They walk in to see a sad looking older woman, and a man in his late 20s to early 30s. The Professor introduces them as some of his past students.
Felicia Fancybottom: (A male.... or an it..... we don't know) A prized student, odd but smart.
Freddy Denton: A nice young man, but he ruined his life by droping out of college.
Professor Roberts: A very smart student.
Justinian Fox: A nice boy, but a little odd.
Bucky Forkwine: One of his favorite students.
The Professor then asks his wife and son to leave. Then Freddy asks "So why did ya asks for us professor?"
Then Rupert replied "In my younger days I and some of my fellow students became involved in what was thought of as a "Innocent" investigation of the occult. A friend of ours "Marion Allen" led it. We purchased a abandoned farmhouse in Ross's Corners. (A small village near Arkham) Marion Allen then put "Protective" symbols on the doors and windows. We all found that very amusing. One night we decide to attempt to summon something. And we did. There is an evil thing in that house. It will only stayed locked in there until I die. For I am the last member of the group. The spell will wear off when I die."
Then Rupert motions to a metal box on the table next to him. And tells the investigators to open this later. He also asks them to rid the house of the spirit so no one else will get hurt.
Bucky then asks "What's in it for us?"
Rupert replies "I have left a sum of money for you all in my will. Please help me"
At this moment Professor Roberts peaks into the box. Suddenly Rupert starts having a spasm and then coughs out a huge gout of blood. The Investigators aren't fazed by this. But Bucky calls the nurse. The doctors and nurses push the investigators out of the room.
They deiced to go back to the hotel.
Hotel Miskatonic: 4PM
They arrive at the hotel, and find out the professor died. Then Professor Roberts opens the box. Inside are A old envelope, A small sarcophagus shaped golden box, and a journal.
They open the envelope to find the deed to the house, and the key to it.
Then open the box and find it empty. But Freddy makes a History check and identifies Egyptian hieroglyphs, but he cannon't read them.
They then open the journal and a page falls out. Then Freddy reads it aloud.

The Journal describes a ceremony at which an evil creature is summoned. Marion Allen led them in this chant. They drew a pentagram and placed a peice of amber in the middle. Two hours later a creature appeared, Robert Menkin (A member of the group) got too close and his neck was broken. Then Harold Copley went mad. They never spoke of the event to anyone.
They read the rest of the journal and found the group started in the Spring of 1881, and they playfully called themselves the Dark Brotherhood.
The Group bought the house to experiment with in contacting the sprit world in private.

A Murder At The Docks
New Orleans- The body of Mr. Marion Allen, late of Arkham, Massachusetts, was discovered early this morning near the Gulf & Panama docks. A victim of foul play, the man was identified by locale witnesses who said that Mr. Allen had been seen in the locale the evening before. Although robbery was the apparent motive, police report that the victims tongue had been cut out. Marion Allen had reportedly gone to police earlier this week claiming that he was being followed and that he feared for his life. He said his shadowy pursuers were after an Egyptian artifact that he no longer possessed.
The Last page had an entry on it that told how Rupert hated what they did so many years ago, and that when he dies the creature will roam free.
After reading the journal the Investigators head to the library tomorrow.
Professor Robert’s is called away during the night for a urgent matter. (He leaves)
Miskatonic University Library: 10AM
The Investigators arrive at the library and spend four hours looking for a book on Egyptian artifacts. After a History check they find one and read about the box they found. The box was giving to Nophru-ka by the gods, and was said to contain sprits in the amber. But it really contained a insect. (Insert Jurassic park joke)
They then decide to go to Ross’s Corners.
Ross’s Corners 3PM
The investigators arrive and decide to ask around town for info on the house. The choices they had were: The Church, A general store. Post office, Gas station, and the milk depot.
So naturally they go to the milk depot. (To milk the workers for info)
When they get there, there are two men working.
Freddy tells a few jokes to the workers and has them cracking up. Then they ask about the house. The men tell them that the children in town are sacred because they think it’s haunted. Then the men tell the group to go to the general store and ask Ma Peters about the house.
So they walk over to the general store. When inside they start making jokes about Ma Peters…… oops Ma Peters throws them out of the store.
So after getting thrown out of the general store they head up to the house.
Farmhouse 5PM
The investigators arrive at the farmhouse, a very old house on a hill. They decide to go around the back. While they are walking around the house they notice strange symbols on the boarded up windows.
They arrive at the back door, so naturally they attempt to kick the door down.
First Justinian kicks it and his foot bounces right off. Then Felicia the same, Bucky as well. Then a strong gust of wind blows the door open reveling it to be unlatched .
Freddy walks in first and then they all do, they notice a empty can of pork and beans, and that the room must have been occupied y something or someone.
They start going down the basement, but a box on a shelf catches their eye.
They walk over to it and pick it up, brushing papers off of it. They open it to find a strange powder inside. Bucky decides that it might come in handy later.
They continue down into the basement. Freddy walks in first and tries to see if anything is down there. Then all of a sudden something hits him and he falls down.
They can see a hobo running towards the stairs. Bucky tries to shoot him in the leg but misses. Then Justinian and Felicia grab the hobo, but he escapes their grasp.
The hobo runs out the front door and he is rambling like a madman. Freddy tries to chase him but can’t catch up. So then Freddy takes a shot! BAM!!!!!! He hits the hobo in the back killing him. The investigator drag the body back up to the house so they won’t forget it.
Back inside they hear a rustling in the attic. Justinian suggests going up, but Freddy says they should look at the papers on the cigar box. The group chooses the attic.
Justinian pulls the door down and the ladder. He goes up and notices something move. He tries to go down but…..
AAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Justinian gets pulled into the attic by some unseen force. The others scramble around room trying to get a better view of the attic. Freddy grabs the cigar box and tosses some of the powder into the air, but that doesn’t do any good. They still hear Justinian screaming! Then Freddy climbs up the ladder and WOOM!!!!!!!!
He falls to the floor, as he looks what hit him he sees Justinian’s body on top of him. They see that there is a hole in Justinian chest, and cuts and claw marks on his face. Bucky, and Felicia lose their lunch after seeing that Justinian has no heart. Freddy examines the body and learns that the heart is definitely gone.
Freddy then says they should read the papers now. As they read them they see that that is the chant used to summon the creature. They then start to chant it, assigning Freddy to watch the house.
During the ceremony the creature is going nuts howling, and scratching.
About 1 hour into the chant something starts to drip down from the ceiling. Bucky has some drop on him and it burns his skin like acid.
Close to the hour and a half mark, They start to hear something outside.
Freddy looks out the window and sees a lady stumbling towards the house. Freddy looks a little closer and sees a hole in her chest were her heart used to be.
Freddy turns around and notices that Bucky, and Felicia are chanting Forwards!!! Not Backwards!!!!! The Wrong WAY!!!!!!

Hey, folks, Freddy Denton, drifter here (see above in the cast list). I've gotta say that that Josh fellow is a pretty able Keeper. He really surprised and shocked and terrified us this last session when he killed off poor Justinian Fox! Joking aside (we shined the flashlight through the hole in his chest and said, "Hey, look, I'm Iron Man!") it was pretty scary and we await the climactic finish!
