"I have my vehicles waiting. They should be adequate to the task." He gives you an expression that might read: 'and keep you where I can see you.'

The group occupies the express elevator, descending quickly to the ground floor. They pass through the lobby with the speed of men on a mission. The chill of the lobby is in great contrast to the late spring heat. Parked in the fire lane in front of the building are two black SUVs.
Heyer stands by the lead car, and smiles. "Welcome aboard, gentlemen."

Father Francis approaches Heyer, smiling.
Thanks for the transportation. We appreciate your generosity.
Father Frank climbs into the lead car.

Osgood gets into the seat right behind the driver of the lead car. As he enters he touches the metal of the vehicle to get a sense of any modifications that have been made to it.
OOC: Forces 1 to detect anything unusual about the SUV. Let me know if I need to roll.

Forces tells you the vehicle has undergone some modification; appropriate considering Heyer has high Office in both the mundane and Magickal worlds. The exterior is armored but has some unusual characteristics. It is cool to the touch, and feels slightly electrified. Rolling Forces and Prime can give you something about its magickal profile.
Edit: that is a Forces 1, Prime 1. Roll Arete difficulty 4.

Sayer frowns, then with a shrug and a "whatever..." he jumps into the backseat of the rear vehicle.

Arete Roll (diff 4) 4d10 = (6 + 8 + 2 + 10) = 26
OOC: 2, 6, 8, & 10. 3 successes. Are we re-rolling 10s?

no exploding dice.
The metal ripples ethereally, and as Osgood runs his fingers he can feel the subtle texture - millions upon millions of tiny sigils etched into the warded metal. Makes sense that the Orders military leader in the city would have a vehicle coated with the Hermetics' answer to Primium. Osgood feels a tingle throughout his skeleton, somewhat edgy, perhaps only describable as pure potential...

Osgood coughs involuntarily as his skin comes in contact with the SUV. He blinks a couple of times as he takes a seat and, smiling, says, "Nice car".

Heyer turns around from his vantage point in the front passenger seat.
"Thank you. Can't be too careful around here, specially with those guys across the street."
He's referring to a file of men loitering in front of the Charlton Building opposite the Frost Tower, the Syndicate's outpost designed to keep tabs on the Order. The men wear sunglasses and all appear to be refugees from a GQ photo shoot. They are also terrible at acting casually, as it is painfully obvious that they are registering every one of your movements.
