Liverpool Wargames Association

The LWA is mainly miniature wargame and RPG focussed, but a lot of members play board games very regularly. The games tend to be the heavier/conflict end of the spectrum such as Twilight Imperium, Civ, Liberte, 7 Ages, etc. along with pure war boardgames such as World in Flames, ASL, Hitler's War, etc. They have their own premises so leaving games set up for campaigns is possible.
The LWA uses a membership system to pay for the premises but the first few visits are free.
You are advised to contact webmaster@lwaonline.org.uk and get on the mailing list to organise a day to come down (and to get directions to the well hidden premises). Everyone is very friendly but many weekends people are busy with pre-planned games.
