Welcome to the weekly Bundle Watch, where I'll keep an eye out for bundles that might be of interest to the RPGGeek community.

Just week two of Spooktober, and fatigue is already setting in for me. I'm all for some scary and spooky, but a whole month? *Sigh* Too much for me. To be fair, I feel the same about all the others too. February - do you have to be "Love Month" the whole month? Do we need a whole month of holly and mistletoe? I'm set after about a week and a half. Anyway...we've got some spooky offers...there they are...

gooBundle of Holdinggoo

The first Bundle of Holding offer is RPG adjacent. The bundle launched Wednesday October 6, and runs through October 27, 2021. You can find it here. It contains a whole bunch of horror fiction. Like, thousands of pages of collected horror, edited by Ellen Datlow.

googoogoogoo

Next up is a bundle of maps, from Øone Games to continue your spooky adventures with. The 0One Horror Maps bundle launched Monday, Spooktober 11, and runs through November 1, 2021.

It's worth calling out that these are interactive - they have layers that let you show or hide each...grids (both hex and square), room numbers, options for how to show walls (outline or filled), and so on. These features work with Adobe Reader, and may or may not work in other software. FYI!

The first tier kicks off with 0one's Black & White: Heavenring Village Virtual Boxed Set - 11 building maps with 101 rooms and 225 tiles & battlemaps. There's also a GM version included, which includes a map of town, roof cutouts to hide unexplored buildings, and templates to add descriptions for rooms. That's just the first item. Next up is a four pack of eerie forests (*sigh*...eeeeeerrrrieeee...*sigh*) with 0one's Blueprints: Eerie Forest, Red Vampire's Way Inn, Ruins of Spiderhaunt Manor, and Zombie Island. Not spooked yet? Next is a pack of ruined towns, 0one's Blueprints: The Ruined Town, Castle Falconflight, Dungeon of the Thirteen Undead, The Hill of the Haunting Spectre, The Lone Orc Sighting Tower, Old Observatory, and Temple, Farms, & Dungeon. Still here? Well, this tier has one more scare up it's sleeve, with a Pathfinder 1e adventure and accompanying map - 0one's Black & White Adventures: The Terror of Tumbledown. Explore the abandoned (I'm sure) Tumbledown Manor in this Pathfinder 1e scenario for 5th level characters.

Looking for more? The second tier kicks off with 0one's Blueprints: Domain of Blood - Virtual Boxed Set, with 144 pages of maps depicting Count Vladimir Drake's castle and surrounding environs. If you survive the Count, Professor Abraham Harker has a room for you in his Asylum. Explore the asylum and 175 pages of environments in the Harker Asylum Virtual Boxed set next. 0One gives you 5 short modules for 5th Ed. to go with your maps of the Eerie Forest next: The Invisible Hand, A Dead Reckoning, One Night at the Red Vampire, Black Magic, and Threads of the Orb Weaver. Finally...MORE maps. 0one's Blueprints: City of the Dead, 0one's Black & White: Mad Scientist's Lab, 0one's Colorprints 10: The Sunken City, and 0one's Blueprints: Vampire Castle.

Overall, lots of neat stuff! And I'm sure I can find non-spooky uses for it too.

googoogoogoo

At least November doesn't have a full month theme...wait, what? It does? A month of turkeys and cranberries? Why can't it be a month of stuffing? I could get on board with that.

Welcome to the weekly Bundle Watch, where I'll keep an eye out for bundles that might be of interest to the RPGGeek community.

A single offer from Bundle of Holding this week to start off your Spooktober.

gooBundle of Holdinggoo

This week's offering from Bundle of Holding features the Mythos hack The Cthulhu Hack. It launched Monday, October 4, and runs through October 25, 2021. You can find it here.

Cthulhu Hack features just two basic mechanics - Saves and Resources - so it's easy to learn and teach. The basic tier begins, as usual, with the CRB. It also includes The Dark Brood sourcebook (which you can also use in other games), which includes cultists, adventure seeds, and more. From Unformed Realms, Rhan-Tegoth, Strange Materials are also included at this tier, with more options, histories, stats, and lunar mysteries for you to work with. Lastly, you'll get Forgotten Duty, a mini-campaign for Cthulhu Hack.

Tier 2 begins with the stand-alone Dee Sanction, set in 16th Century England, where you play an Agent of Dee serving to protect the realm using forbidden magic. The offer finishes with five more investigations - The Haunter of the Dark, Mother's Love, Three Faces of the Wendigo, Thro' Centuries Fixed, and Valkyrie-9.

Welcome to the weekly Bundle Watch, where I'll keep an eye out for bundles that might be of interest to the RPGGeek community.

Busier week. Two offers from Bundle of Holding, plus one from Humble.

Bundle of Holding
First up is a bundle of streaming overlays from Brian Podell of Exploding Dice Studio. The bundle launched on Wednesday, September 22, and runs only through September 29, 2021. It contains a main screen image, before and after images, info panel headers, .psd masters, and fonts. You can find it here.

-----

The second bundle has me excited, and I don't play 5e! I keep hearing a lot of good stuff around the titles in the bundle, and I think that's for a reason. All these titles are in DriveThruRPG's top tier of sellers - Platinum - and that doesn't count crowdfunding rewards, promos, and the like. So these have been popular in the 5e third-party space.

The 5e Platinum Showcase launched Monday, September 27, and runs through October 18, 2021.

The first tier leads off with the alternative to race book Ancestry & Culture, by Eugene Marshall from Arcanist Press. It's a double ENnie winner and has gotten lots of great word of mouth.

Next up is GeneFunk 2090 by James S. Armstrong from CRISPR Monkey Studios. Genefunk brings you a biopunk CRB with everything you need to get started, including pregenerated characters and a screen.

If you need something to get ready for October, this tier also brings you 5th Edition Horror by Ismael Alvarez and Fat Goblin Games. Inside you'll find new classes, spells, feats, and more to bring a frightening aspect to your games.

Wrapping up is the The Book of Wondrous Magic by M. T. Black of M.T. Black Games, containing 100 amazing magic items for your 5e players to loot (or to stop them from looting...)

The second tier kicks off with Sly Flourish's Fantastic Adventures by Michael E. Shea and Sly Flourish. It collects ten adventures for 2nd to 5th level, and includes art and maps, both in PDF and in image formats for VTTs.

Eugene Marshall's back in tier 2, with Custom Ancestries & Cultures and More Custom Ancestries & Cultures. That's 126 more options, folks, including rules to play as sentient, humanoid mushrooms.

Genefunk is also back, with Shadows of Korea, a sandbox setting detailing Busan, Korea and it's inhabitants (and their schemes).

Last up, is The Anatomy of Adventure. M.T. Black shares his learnings from over 35 platinum sellers on the Dungeon Master's Guild.

Humble Bundle

This week's relevant offer from Humble launched on Thursday, September 23, and runs until October 14, 2021. It collects a bunch of Dungeons & Dragons (5th Edition) supplements from Frog God Games. You can find it here.

Starting at 1 USD, the first tier nets you Cat's Cradle Town Sourcebook, maps for Cat's Cradle and Itral, the Deck of Horrors 1, The Fiend of Turlin's Well (5E), Let's Get Kraken, Waypoints: Cat's Cradle, a coupon to World Anvil, another coupon worth 30% off at Frog God's website, and another (another) coupon, this time for 30% off at Nord Games.

Tier 2 starts at 10 USD, and adds Book of Lost Spells (5E), Deck of Horrors 2, Eye of Itral (5E), Fortune Hunters (5E), It Started with a Chicken (5e), Orcus on 34th Level (5E), Tomb of Horrors 2020, Tomb of Horrors 2020 Instant Encounters Preview, Killer Frog, and Treacherous Traps.

At 18 USD you get all the digital offerings, with The Red Opera: Last Days of The Warlock, Tome of Alchemy (5E), Tokens of Horror 2020, Deck of Horrors 3, the Deck of Mysterious Creations, The Midderlands: A Fifth Edition Setting & Bestiary with a poster map, more instant encounters...{deep breath...} and the Ultimate Guide to Alchemy, Crafting, and Enchanting.

Lastly, at 38 USD you add a copy of the Book of Lost Spells in print. Shipping's extra.

Busy week for 5e!! D&D celebrations, rumors, releases, AND two bundles of supplements. Somebody rolled really great on the random treasure table!

Welcome to the weekly Bundle Watch, where I'll keep an eye out for bundles that might be of interest to the RPGGeek community.

Bundle of holding, in for one this week.

Bundle of Holding

This week we have another mutant bundle, but this time, it's Mutant Crawl Classics. The bundle launched Monday, September 20, and runs through October 11, 2021. You can find it at BoH's page here.

MCC is published by Goodman Games, and brings you to a post-apocalyptic future, where you assume the guise of a mutant, shaman, robot-killer and more. It's based on their DCC system, but is a standalone game it and of itself.

At the first tier, you start off with the Mutant Crawl Classics Role Playing Game and MCC #000: Judge's Screen-essential to get started. This tier also includes a 0-level adventure to funnel through in MCC #001: Hive of the Overmind.

The second tier brings MCC #008: The Data Orb of Metakind, a supplement devoted to a single artifact. wow This bundle wraps up with six adventures: MCC #010: Seeking the Post-Humans, MCC #002: A Fallen Star for All, MCC #003: Incursion of the Ultradimension, MCC #009: Evil of the Ancients, MCC #005: Blessings of the Vile Brotherhood, and MCC #006: The Apocalypse Ark.

I'll also take just a moment to mention that Humble has an audiobook bundle for Warhammer fans. Find it here if that's your thing, and secure up to 19 audiobooks for less than $20.

Welcome to the weekly Bundle Watch, where I'll keep an eye out for bundles that might be of interest to the RPGGeek community.

A double offering this week from Bundle of Holding.

It's worth noting that there's slightly increased chances of special offerings being the week of Gen Con. If that happens, I'll do what I can to write up a special, off-cycle Bundle Watch, for anything that has short timelines.

Bundle of Holding

This week, Bundle of Holding brings us two Mutants & Masterminds Third Edition bundles. I, for one, am excited. Blame Cthanta Claus for their gift last Cthantmas.

Mutants & Masterminds started off as a d20 OGL spin off, and has evolved into a very cool supers game, which streamlines the d20 system in many ways, while expanding it to meet the needs of the genre (*cough* character creation & options *cough*).

First, BoH has resurrected (in true comics fashion) their Earth Prime bundle from January 2019, which you can find here. It launched Monday, September 13, and runs until 10/4/2021.

The first tier starts off with Green Ronin Publishing's Basic Hero's Handbook. This is a great place to start, and is focused on being a jumping-on point for new players and new gamers. It also includes Hero Lab files! In general, most components of this bundle do also include relevant Hero Lab files, as far as I can tell (I'm only passingly familiar with it, but numerous books do come with these files. Do check if the bundle has ones important for you, don't just take my layman's word for it.)

Next up is Rogues Gallery, with superpowered adversaries for your new heroes to duke it out with (or outwit!), including prewritten hooks for each. Finally, this tier includes Freedom City 3rd Edition, which details one of the settings Green Ronin has created for M&M.

The bonus collection smashes it's way into your collection beginning with the Mutants & Masterminds Third Edition Deluxe Hero's Handbook CRB. This has all you need to run your game, and is both Cthanta and Newscaster Patrick approved. Atlas of Earth-Prime will pair well with your Freedom City supplement, letting you explore the whole Earth (and some other more mysterious locations as well). Hero High (Revised Edition) wraps up the bundle, with teenaged heroes and villains. Good stuff.

===

BoH's second bundle, the Mutants & Masterminds Power-Up bundle, is all new, was launched, and ends on the same dates as the reborn Earth Prime bundle. This one only has one tier though.

It contains the Mutants & Masterminds Deluxe Gamemaster's Guide, Superteam Handbook, and the Time Traveler's Codex. All three bring you more options, resources, archtypes, advice, powers, prebuilt teams, villains, and paradoxes (I can only assume with time travel...)

That's it for me. Excelsior! (please don't sue me for saying "excelsior...")

For those traveling, have a safe trip, and a safe Gen Con!

Welcome to the weekly Bundle Watch, where I'll keep an eye out for bundles that might be of interest to the RPGGeek community.

A single offering once again this week from Bundle of Holding.

Bundle of Holding

This week BoH launched a bundle filled with Monte Cook's Numenera. The bundle launched Monday, September 6, and runs through September 27, 2021. You can find it here.

The Discovery tier starts off with its namesake, Numenera Discovery. An update to 2012's Kickstarter, this 2018 update (itself Kickstarted in 2017) expands and refines the original, while staying compatible with the many supplements to the original. You also get the Numenera Character Portfolio alongside the CRB. Priests of the Aeons and the Technology Compendium expand your options, with new options for Aeon Priest and tons of new cyphers and other new macguffins to play with. The Ninth World Guidebook and Maps of the Ninth World & Maps of the Ninth World 2 expand the world for you. Finally, Character & Creature Standups are here to let you represent your character at the table.

The Destiny tier also starts off with its namesake, and introduces new character options, items, and expands the setting. Building Tomorrow and Voices of the Datasphere give yet more options for you as a player or GM - items, optional rules, and the like. GMs will be glad to get three Ninth World Bestiaries, including around 600 creatures (maybe more). Finally, GMs get the Slaves of the Machine God campaign, ten adventures in Explorer's Keys, and "Forgetting Doomsday," "Thief, Clave, and the Ultimatum," and "Shadewalker" adventures.

Welcome to the weekly Bundle Watch, where I'll keep an eye out for bundles that might be of interest to the RPGGeek community.

A single offering again this week from Bundle of Holding.

Bundle of Holding

This week's bundle features City of Mist, and launched Monday, August 30. It runs through September 20, 2021, and can be found here.

City of Mist is a comic-book neo-noir supers game built on the popular Powered by the Apocalypse system, combining tag-based motivation and advancement with moods similar to your favorite detective and supernatural shows and comics. This bundle is also keen to draw your attention to QUEERZ!, a soon-to-launch kickstarter campaign for a LGBTQ+ friendly supers RPG based on City of Mist's system. Hit them up to be notified on launch.

So, what's up for grabs?

The basic tier starts off with the All Seeing Eye starter set, City of Mist Player's Guide, MC Toolkit, location maps, and MC screen. Pretty much everything to get rolling, as usual.

The bonus (or "super" collection, if you will ) starts you off with more character options in If Dreams Could Kill; Don't Believe the Truth, a sourcebook covering the Avatars running the City of Mist; a three case story arc in Killing Her Softly, Carnival of Machines, and Broken Glass; the five track City of Mist soundtrack (alas, no vinyl option...); and finally three more sourcebooks that flesh out districts of the city - Independence, La Colonia de Sombras, and Tourist Trap.

That's it from me citizens! (Poof! Smokebomb! {Newscaster Patrick disappears...})

Welcome to the weekly Bundle Watch, where I'll keep an eye out for bundles that might be of interest to the RPGGeek community.

Only a single offering this week from Bundle of Holding.

Bundle of Holding

This week's bundle is the Sixth World Stories bundle. It launched Monday, August 23, and runs through September 13.

Shadowrun and fiction have gone hand in hand for a long time. I somehow managed to talk my dad into a pair of novels way back in the day at Walden Books ("Never Deal with a Dragon" and "Choose your Enemies Carfully") before I knew what TTRPGs were. I am sure I'm not the only one with a story like that. This bundle combines some RPG material with fiction. The RPG items come as you'd expect, in PDFs. The fiction comes in epub and Kindle formats.

The base tier starts off with the Shadowrun: Sixth World Beginner Box. It also includes four anthologies of stories, Blood and Chrome, Sprawl Stories, Worlds of Shadows, and Drawing Destiny.

The "Runner Compendium" tier includes the Shadowrun: Sixth World Core Rulebook and seven more novels - Chaser, Frame Job, Johnson Run, Makeda Red, Shaken, Tower of the Scorpion, and Undershadows.

Quick update from me this week. Grab a 'caf and enjoy some entertainment, chummer.

Welcome to the weekly Bundle Watch, where I'll keep an eye out for bundles that might be of interest to the RPGGeek community.

Holy cow, busy week! We have a double offer from Bundle of Holding the same week as the double Dr. Who offering, and Humble Bundle also offering up Mutant Chronicles, followed up by a third from BoH.

Bundle of Holding
We start off with two Delta Green offerings which launched Thursday, August 12, and run until Sunday, September 12. These launched as Arc Dream Publishing runs a 25th anniversary Delta Green kickstarter.

First up is a fresh offering of an June 2018 Delta Green offering, which gives you at the basic tier the modern-day conspiracy-horror Agent's Handbook - the player's rulebook for the game - along with 31 short stories between the Extraordinary Renditions and Tales from Failed Anatomies collections.

The second tier "Handler Collection" brings you the Handler's Guide, appropriately, giving the Delta Green GM histories of the world, the resources about Old Ones (and how to create new ones!), and guidance on scenario creation; the Handler's Screen; and seven scenarios across A Night at the Opera and Kali Ghati.

==========

The second Delta Green bundle "Operations", is a fresh chance at the offering for October 2019, which contains more supplements and scenarios.

The basic tier starts off with scenarios - Last Equation, Lover in the Ice and Sweetness. Agent Dossiers collects prewritten character sheets for every profession described in the Agent's Handbook giving you an immediate jumping off point. The Unspeakable Oath issues 22 - 24 and some more fiction offerings (Down in the Delta, The Way It Went Down, & In the Court of the Yellow King) complete this tier.

The bonus tier includes four more operations in Control Group, 21 dossiers for federal agencies and contractors in The Complex, the four part Future/Perfect campaign, A Victim of the Art, and Unspeakable Oath 25.

==========

Last up from Bundle of Holding is the Metamorphosis Alpha (1st Edition) bundle, which launched on August 16, and will run until September 6. You can find it on BoH's page here.

This one features the first edition of Metamorphosis Alpha from 1976, where it was the second ever Science Fiction RPG. Set on a crippled generation ship, you play descendants of those who set out, either as a human, mutant, or robot.

The starter collection begins with the Metamorphosis Alpha rulebook and GM screen and comes to you as a scan of the original game as included in Metamorphosis Alpha Deluxe Collector's Edition, chapter 2; it also includes some errata applied in the margins and a short appendix. This tier includes three sourcebooks, Creatures & Gadgets, The Mutation Manual, and The Warden Armory; as well as the adventures Death Ziggurat in Zero-G and Warden Adventures.

The bonus tier starts off with a 51 page deadly adventure (think Tomb of Horrors here...) in Doom on the Warden, from the successful 2020 Kickstarter. Next, visit Epsilon City's arcologies, if you can make it past the insane AI and wolfoid packs. This bundle finishes up with three more adventures, The Android Underlords, The Captain's Table, The Level of the Lost, and finally Book of Handouts, which includes 16 images for you as the GM to use as you see fit.

==========

Humble Bundle

Not content to sit back after last week's Starfinder offer, Humble's back with a mixed bundle of Mutant Chronicles 3rd Edition Roleplaying Game PDFs and 3D printable miniatures from Modiphius Entertainment, which you can find here.

For a buck, you can have the CRB, Mutant Chronicles Players' Guide, Dark Symmetry Campaign Book, Mutant Chronicles Universal Index, Quickstart, as well as character sheets and a coupon for 50% off the physical book CRB.

For $10, you add The Brotherhood Source Book, Bauhaus Source Book, Capitol Source Book, Cybertronic Source Book, Imperial Source Book, *deep breath* Whitestar Source Book, and Mishima Source Book.

The last tier, at $18, adds Mutant Chronicles 3rd Edition Roleplaying Game: Savage Worlds Edition, Dark Legion Campaign Book, Dark Eden Source Book, Dark Eden Campaign Book, a printable decks for locations, Chronicle Points, NPCs, Dark Symmetry Points; Mutant Chronicles GM Screen, Dark Soul Source Book, Luna & Freelancers Source Book, Mutants & Heretics Source Book, Cartel & Orbitals Source Book, an art book, Venusian Apocalypse Campaign Book and 18 3D printable miniature files (apparently with supports).

Welcome to the weekly Bundle Watch, where I'll keep an eye out for bundles that might be of interest to the RPGGeek community.

There are two offers this week, both from Bundle of Holding.

Bundle of Holding

Both bundles this week feature Doctor Who Roleplaying Game from Cubicle 7 Entertainment. Cubicle 7 recently announced a renewed licensing agreement, and has published a second edition of Doctor Who. Both bundles launched Monday, August 9, and will run until August 30, 2021.

The first bundle revives the December 2018 Doctor Who RPG bundle, and all titles in this bundle are 100% compatible with the new release of second edition, according to Cubicle 7.

The basic tier gets you the Doctor Who Roleplaying Game CRB, with character sheets premade for the twelfth doctor & companions. It also includes The Time Traveller's Companion, which gives you new player options, information about the physics of time, detailed TARDIS info and creation rules, among other information. Rounding out this tier we have All the Strange, Strange Creatures Volume I, with piles of aliens, and Paternoster Investigations, which takes you to the ever popular Victorian era.

The bonus collection starts with the GM Companion, and Defending the Earth (which is your guide to UNIT - the Unified Intelligence Taskforce) featuring more character options, expanded combat rules including mass combat and skirmish rules, and two adventures. Also included is The Black Archive, referring to a storehouse of alien gadgets and tech (managed by UNIT) - this supplement gives you more UNIT options, background, and characters; The Silurian Age detailing the prehistoric Silurian race (and includes creatures from other Vortex System books); and All of Time and Space Volume 1, a collection of four adventures which, again, are compatible with the most recent revision of Doctor Who.

==========

The second bundle, the "12 Doctors" bundle, brings you the complete run of The Doctor Sourcebooks. The Basic tier includes the first, second, and third doctor sourcebooks, and the second tier brings you fourth through twelfth.

That's it this time! Try not to create too many temporal paradoxes!
