How To Use This Geeklist:
We'll use this Geeklist to store characters, update some general "known" information by the party, and put other things of interest. Kind of the party's storage area.

For characters, you can (and should) use this Geeklist as if it were a paper character sheet in front of you. If you get wounded, or use spell slots, update things here for the benefit of everyone. When you spend experience points, or add/remove equipment, it is also helpful to leave a comment about the changes made.

Character Creation:

For rules/references on Character Creation, I would like to reference you to here.

Talent Trees:

Bounty Hunter Talent Trees
Colonist Talent Trees
Explorer Talent Trees
Hired Gun Talent Trees
Smuggler Talent Trees
Technician Talent Trees

These ones are going to be a little funky:

Universal Trees

Some ground rules we'll lay down here, (Not exactly RAW, but it's thematically appropriate.)

1. If you want to start out as being force sensitive, spend starting XP in the Force-Sensitive Exile.
2. If you later want to become force sensitive let me know later on so I can present an opportunity for you to buy into the Force-Sensitive Emergent tree.
3. If we're going to later open up to the Force & Destiny classes, you will need to have either the Force-Sensitive Exile or the Force Sensitive Emergent tree first.
4. If you want to be a part of the rebel alliance later on, you will need to buy into the recruit tree.
5. If we're going to later open up to the Age of Rebellion classes, you will need to have the recruit tree first.

Force Power Trees

Signature Ability Trees (Nobody needs to worry about these for now.)

Bounty Hunter Signature Ability
Colonist Signature Ability
Explorer Signature Ability
Hired Gun Signature Ability
Smuggler Signature Ability
Technician Signature Ability

Template:
Use the template provided below to setup your character. Copy the template text from comment post below and add an item to this GeekList. (Use the "Add Item" button at the bottom of this post.) If you select the “Quote” option of the comment you will get an edit window where you can highlight and copy the template body, remember to remove the quote tags at the bottom and top, ( [.q][./q] ) Paste the template into the “new” list item ( not the comment reply) and make the edits necessary. When adding an item it will as for a type of the item and make you enter a name/number. Feel free to add whatever item tag you wish that matches your character or personal style. And you may tweak if necessary as well.

At the top of the template is the section "Text for Posts", You will use this (or similar) when posting IC (In Character). One of the lines is for dialog: everyone should choose a different color for dialog! This makes it VERY easy to see who is speaking.

Backstory:
Ned hatched and grew up in Jyvus Space City, orbiting his species’ native planet Duro. He had a relatively uneventful childhood. Though he had numerous siblings, Ned was substantially older than all of them and never really developed any close sibling relationship. His family was middle class—his father was a pilot for a local transportation enterprise and his mother stayed home to look after the children.

When he was 16, Ned got what he thought was his dream job. He was hired into the test pilot training program at Kuat Drive Yards. Ned had always wanted to be a pilot like his father, but wasn’t too interested in the mundane task of transporting people between in-system orbital cities. KDY could provide Ned with some of the best training in the galaxy and an opportunity to fly cutting-edge ships.

Ned performed well in the training program and quickly became a full test pilot. He also quickly discovered that being a test pilot was not the dream he thought it would be. The work was long, difficult, and dangerous, and the pay was terrible. There were plenty of young people excited about becoming test pilots, so companies didn’t have to pay their pilots much at all to keep them around.

In his early twenties, his friend Durban asked Ned if he wanted to help pilot a transport ship loaded with medical supplies to Dathomir to earn a bit of extra money. As it turned out, the “medical supplies” consisted of Spice, and illicit drug produced primarily by the Pyke Syndicate on Kessel. Ned’s friend knew the true nature of the shipment from the beginning, and convinced Ned to try a bit of Spice from his personal stash. Ned became hooked on the drug shortly thereafter.

KDY test pilots were routinely tested for drugs, and Ned knew it was no longer the job for him. Durban offered Ned a job with his smuggling group as the pilot of their heavily-modified Gozanti class cruiser. Ned accepted, and for the next 15 years Ned, Durban, and the rest of their crew ran a successful smuggling operation throughout the galaxy. While not every shipment contained Spice, many did and the crew was occasionally paid with the drug.

Eventually, the crew ran afoul of the Pyke syndicate. Two of the crew were killed and Durban was taken prisoner. Ned managed to escape with only the clothes on his back. Having lost a large part of whatever empathy he may have previously possessed, Ned’s main focus in the recent past has been finding work to fund his addiction. Ned is well-traveled, and consequently knows how to find Spice nearly everywhere in the galaxy. Oftentimes, the people who have the Spice also have useful or valuable information, or work for hire.

Ned is not an amoral man—he does not like to steal when he doesn’t have to, and he does not enjoy hurting or killing anyone—but he does see any problem in hiding activities from a government he never voted for anyway.

Backstory:
Whaggojjon adventures off Kashyyyk had turned sour. Hired as a guard to protect colonial geological expeditions, he had travel mountains and valleys of several different plants in what appeared to be a futile attempt to find the specific resource the geologist was looking for – the wookies did not have a name for it. It may never matter, because the expedition stumbled upon a criminal hideout that quickly and violently took exception to their discovery. The failures of the expeditions seemed infections as Whaggojjon struggled vainly to protect them. Only the fading vision from a blow to his head eased the witnessing of their slaughter.

Whaggojjon awoke, in chains, in a cell, on a ship, heading to an unknown destination. He finds himself sold like a common slave by his captures to the operators of a ramshackle mining operations on a desert planet. Simply known as Mine 5, it appeared as if this very small and poorly run operation was trying too hard to stay undetected – whether from the authorities or from other underworld agencies. Whaggojjon soon encountered Unuri, a down on his luck human who ran afoul of his mob boss and found himself chained to the wookie and working the mines. But Unuri was an exceptionally smart and resourceful man who promised a plan to break them both out with Whaggojjon’s cooperation. Unuri kept his word, and they, along with a few other survivors, managed a violent breakout from Mine 5.

Perhaps too violent. Unari had a small raiding ship, the Trenxal, and crew waiting for him not far from the mine when they escaped. Whaggojjon discovered that Unari had a bit of a mean streak in him. In fact, his entire crew was comprised of unsavory and unprincipled degenerates of questionable loyalty and capable of only committing violence. The criminal underworld would call them expendables. Whaggojjon smelled only death with them. Unari wanted Whaggojjon to join his crew – after all, he owed Unari for breaking him out of the mine. Whaggojjon hesitated, and that was enough for Unari to secure him in his living cell, for his own safety, until he made up his mind. After all, the crew might not take kindly to a non-member of the crew roaming the ship so freely. He was exchanging one slavery for another. By the time the Trenxal touched down in its next port, Whaggojjon still had not committed and had learned that Unari was planning a raid on logistics shipment to a colonial port. Without Whaggojjon’s commitment, Unari did not want to compromise the Trenxal safe port by having an unvouched person in port, so Unari attempted to place him in the brig while the crew was in port. Whaggojjon did not cooperate, and after a brief fight aboard the ship, Whaggojjon managed to escape the Trenxal, damaging the ship, and a few crewman, in the process. Unari was furious. Unari felt Whaggojjon owed him his freedom, but Whaggojjon felt that debt was repaid when Unari tried to imprison him again to coerce him to join the crew.

Whaggojjon has since made his living as a body guard and hired gun. He is picky about who he works for. He is loyal, dedicated, and competent. But he is constantly looking over his back for Unari and the crew of the Trenxal. He worries about whoever owned Mine 5 and if he has a bounty on his head as an escaped slave.

Meanwhile, rumors among some colonists is that the attack on the geological expedition was the work of an inside job, and suspicions are on the only member whose body was not found at the attack site, a wookie.

Backstory: Growing up poor on a core world, Lina ran away as a teenager to join the crew of the Mon Calamari luxury space line The Kuari Princess. While getting to see the wider galaxy, she worked/charmed her way up the chain from servant, bar maid, curio shop clerk, finally stopping at hostess to the very high level VIP customers. She had a knack at making these lucrative cruise passengers sign up for the most expensive shows/meals/experiences killing it with kindness they say - and the record for having some stay on for months or even years. Along the way she made some friends and a few enemies. Worse, her slow embezzling of funds finally caught up to her. In line to become VP of operations the liner higher-ups did a thorough investigation and caught her. Given the tip off before she was to be arrested, she leaned on an old rich admirer and veteran vacationer Parla Tentase to help her out. A fight broke out, Lina managed to "inspire" Parla to fight (even at his old age) and he was injured in the process (He'll get the empire involved his lawyer's say), giving enough of a distraction that Lina managed to slip away and grab a shuttle off the luxury liner to the jungle planet Aris. From the colonists there she managed to sweet talk her way onto freighter that is headed for the edge of the Empire. Now she has the law and a jilted old rich man who has decided he needs to see her again...Great. That again.

Career: Technician
Specialization(s): Slicer

Height: 1.6m
Weight: 185lbs
Build: Lean
Age: late 30’s

His mannerisms all but dispel this as he is possessed of a ready smile and a quirky sense of humor as well as a bit of an anti-authoritarian streak that would have served him poorly in any hierarchical organization.

Backstory: Dev grew up on Kuat and in a fairly average middle-class family. An early interest in tech was encouraged by his parents and they quickly discovered that he was very gifted with electronics and anything mechanical. While he mostly followed a law-abiding path in the development of his skills, Dev would occasionally delve into the darker and seedier side of things. If it was on the ‘net, Dev could find it.

Not done yet, but wanted to get this posted sooner than later. Will format properly in the near future.
