In a not too distant past, the Moon has exploded due to the human accumulation of nuclear waste. Its debris have shielded the Earth from the sun leading to a new ice age. 2360, Earth is now covered by ice and the average temperature has fallen to -50 degrees (Celcius). Trains have become the only mode of transportation and humanity is reduced to few communities gathered in domed cities and under the brutal dictatorship of train companies.
