The Warrior Code Open Battle Gaming System is a set of rules used to for live action battle gaming. The battle gaming is a cross of role-playing, wargaming, and foam sword sport. The system is licensed under the Wizards of the Coast Open Game License v1.0a and is therefore is easily expanded upon.
The games are played outside using padded foam weapons in the same manner as are many LARP games. They tend to be shorter than are found in most LARP games as scenarios are be played out in 10 minutes to 4 hours.
The Warrior Code provides for game play where weapons have different damage classifications that score against predefined body target zones. Players choose amongst the basic player classes and there are optional creature classes as well.
Rules and game scenarios written for the Warrior Code can be easily translated to other battle gaming systems such as Amtgard, Belegarth, Dagorhir, Dargarth, Darkon, and the High Fantasy Society.
