A Patchwork Post-Apocalyptic Western
The big three facts about Frankenstein Atomic Frontier:
1. Frankenstein monsters, called “Adam’s” after God’s first creation, inhabit an Earth devoid of humans. Each individual Adam was originally cobbled together from the parts of multiple human specimens. Like all human creations, an Adam is prone to damage and break downs, requiring constant maintenance and repair.
2. Atomic war cost uncounted human lives, creating both a need for soldiers and an abundance of spare parts; facilitating the birth of Frankenstein creations. Long and devastating, the war made a wasteland of the earth and rendered all human life extinct. Much harder than their creations, the Adams remained.
3. Frontier-like existence came to dominate life which was both nasty and violent. With humanity absent other Adams became the only source of spare parts, giving rise to marauders who preyed on their fellows. For mutual protection, across the wastes many small and insular towns were formed.
