Catacombs of the Aquilonian Wookie is a very simple dungeon-crawl game designed by Mikael Sandberg and published in issue #5 of Combat! (the magazine of Swedish Game Production) in 1978. (Sandberg was "Stockholm's most famous DM," it says.)
According to the designer's introduction, the game is based on Dungeons & Dragons (whether Original or Basic is not clear), but a copy is not needed for play; all the rules are included. The game is greatly simplified; players generate the usual six D&D characteristics but only use three of them, there are only two classes (Fighter and Magic User, etc.).
In addition to a page of rules and tables the game includes a simple one-level dungeon.
