Translated game description from the designer:
Inuit shaman horror in funny and easily approachable form. Includes magnificent magics, disgusting detached heads, recycled body parts, ruthless pursuit, angushed fighting, chilling creatures, marvelous spirits and icy death, so in short pure gaming fun!
Easy, quick and random tables -based horror game Tupilak is available in Ropecon 2015. The idea of the game is similar to Väinö D20, except this game doesn't need even that small amount of roleplaying as Väinö did.
User description:
Tupilak is a RPG//story/board game crossover about inuit shamans from Greenland trying to kill each others by sending the spirit animal tupilak against each other. Designed by Risto J. Hieta and published by Myrrysmiehet & Ironspine together in 2015. The game includes character creation for both the shaman and his or hers tupilak and then playing the avenging journey of the tupilak towards it's prey. The journey is depicted as a series of random tables and very little actual roleplaying is needed. All the players play one shaman, so no GM is needed to play Tupilak.
