A game about class struggle in nineteenth-century Yorkshire
From the introduction:
This game is largely based on historical accounts and events. As such, play will often include allusions to (or descriptions of) violent or gruesome deaths as well as sexual assaults—in both cases, children are often the victims.
This content is essential to the game’s exploration of working-class life and struggle: it is important to consider the difficult and tragic nature of life during the industrial revolution—alongside other factors, such as the political disenfranchisement of most of the population and the draconian repressive tactics of the government—in order to understand the readiness with which workers turned to violence and illegality.
