Like Any New Game, Myythic has a learning curve. Getting used to a game that uses the internet and not having a Game Master will take a min or two to get used to in playing.
HOW TO PLAY MYYTHIC
To play Myythic and any of the expansions we produce, 4 simple things are needed.
- An internet device
- Set Of Dice
- Core Rule Book
- A HUGE imagination
Myythic plays on a system called the "Players Choice System."
Players, in any order (we still have order in combat), at any time can choose to call out Beasts, Creatures, Traps, Random Events, even have random Creatures, and do Gold Searches.
Rolling a 1d12 determines what you fight and rolling a 1d4 determines how many.
Any player can choose to have any of the above events go after some one in the group or the event effect the entire group at the same time.
The myythic.com site is used as a guideline for an online adventure that you role-play to in a classic table-top role-playing game.
You still make and create your own characters.
You still battle using dice.
This time, no GM is needed to play!
A huge imagination will simply expand on the LORE that is already built into the game.
The Core Rule Book will have locations, Heroes, and everything you need to run a game using the myythic.com site.
The Dungeon Simulator (DS), this site, has a number of features.
- It has a room descriptor someone reads describing your current environment.
- It will also have an original art work picture giving a brief visual of your environment.
- Lastly, it has directors keys that you can push in the direction you want.
The Dungeon Simulator can't be played by itself, and the rule book is pointless unless played with the DS.
