FAST - Flexible Adventure System, Task-oriented is a minimalistic generic game system.
Characters are created by writing up a description and distributing skill points to buy one or more skill levels. Skills may be selected freely as long as the game master allows them.
The skill level determines the basic target number that must be rolled on a d20 to be successful at a given task. Additional modifiers may be applied as the GM sees fit. Opposed skill rolls are also possible.
Combat uses opposed skill rolls for attacks. Damage is deducted from Body points that are assigned by the GM at character creation.
Characters are rewarded with adventure points which can be used to buy skill levels or fate points. Fate points can be used to modify die rolls and combat situations.
