From Scrollworks 26: "I've been gaming since I was 10 years old, even longer if you count the diceless live-action LARPs I played when I was a little kid. Gaming is the culmination of a lot of hobbies. It gives me a place to show off my tremendous body of trivia, use my creative skills, and indulge my interest inf fantasy, SF, comics, etc.
From the first time I ever saw an RPG (Basic Dungeons & Dragons in the red box) I thought it would be cool to make them. Of course, I also write other stuff. I'd like to write novels, movies, even comics. Gaming is never far from the surface, though. The stimulation of working with (and against) other people is just too cool to give up."
