From the Designer's Website:
While work was very much computer/IT focussed, my personal life was split. Many, MANY hours were spent battling robots, destroying Kilrathi, marching armies across Europe, advancing civilisations and generally taking over the world as displayed on my PC screen, but I have also maintained an active interest in many different RPGs - Role Playing Games
Games Workshop's Warhammer 40,000 took over my loft for many years, while their fantasy RPG really got me started on tabletop gaming, along with TSR's Star Frontiers product.
Since 1998 I have been a full time staff member at the Lorien Trust, moving to become the Head of Security dealing with site safety, security and customer welfare for the largest live role play event in Europe. I've helped staff over a hundred main and subsidiary events, and was involved in delivering plot lines, monster roles and steering player actions over a number of years front of stage, as well as designing and updating rules and logistics, helping to set up events and dealing with customers inbetween events.
Currently I provide a photographic service for the Lorien Trust, with albums holding over 18,000 photos and videos found on Facebook and YouTube
I also designed and wrote my own Airsoft/RPG system called The Fifth Season and held several highly regarded events for groups of players.
I take part in weekly games of Shadowrun - an RPG depicting a dark and dystopian view of our world half a century from now - a group of four friends, the wife and I settle down once a week for several hours in this alternate world. Currently I'm running a campaign that sees a group of mystic special operatives travelling around the world to ensure key events take place according to their mysterious patron's wishes.
