Steph received her Bachelor of Arts in Pre-Medical Illustration from Arcadia University in 2008. Her thesis focused on researching and illustrating feeding mechanisms of carnivorous plants. After graduation from Arcadia University, Steph began her studies at the Johns Hopkins University, School of Medicine. During her studies at JHU, she completed her graduate thesis which focused on the cranial growth and development of perinatal and post natal Crouzon Syndrome mice. She graduated with a Master of Arts in Medical & Biological Illustration in 2010.
In 2010, shortly after her graduation from Johns Hopkins University, Steph founded Sadler Studios. Following the opening of her studio, she passed the required examinations followed by a rigorous portfolio review in order to become a Certified Medical Illustrator.
While all subject matter is interesting and exciting, Steph has a passion for embryology, pediatric development, congenital maladies, gynecology, urology, herpetology, and veterinary science. Steph is currently a member of both the Association of Medical Illustrators and the Guild of Natural Science Illustrators.
Outside of her studio, Steph is a full-time Mom to a beautiful boy. She also enjoys caring for her variety of exotic animals and relaxing with a good book.
