My name is Vicky Yarova. I was born in Kharkiv, Ukraine in 1993 and moved to the U.K. permanently in 2005.

I've had an interest in art from the earliest years that I can remember. I am rarely seen without a pencil in my hand. As a child I was fascinated by Egyptian mythology and I began drawing various creatures and characters, such as Anubis, initially in pencil but I now use a variety of other mediums. As I have grown up I have retained the interest in mythology and expanded my range of interests to include different styles, especially fantasy, sci-fi, surrealism and portraits.

Over the years I have developed my skills to cover a variety of different styles. I create my art using pencils, inks, oils, water colours and a digital tablet.The actual medium used is selected dependent upon the requirements of the work being created but my current medium of choice is the tablet.

I've been commissioned to design characters, playing cards, cd covers, tattoos, posters and t-shirts.
