I am a mother, a wife, an artist, and that doesnt even begin to scratch the surface.
Born and raised in a small ... very small town of Pound, WI, there were only a few things to do. One was to get into trouble, and the other was be crafty and stave off your boredom. I ended up chosing a bit of both, but mostly the crafty. I've always been making alterations to my clothing (even though my mom didn't care to much for that) and drawing, or etching glass, making those cute little beaded animal key chains, so on... Eventually, I noticed i was top of my art class in school. So I started paying attention to what I was doing, and started really learning.
When I was 12, I got my first guitar and taught myself to play. The first song I ever learned was "Crazy Train" By Black Sabbath. Not your traditional "Daisy, Daisy" or "baa baa black sheep", but who wants that right? I was 12 and had a guitar!
In 2004 I started my path down the road of, what I like to call "drastic photo editing". The complete manipulation of photos to make them something weird, beautiful, and different.
2005 Insert Husband into life! I got married! Best decision I have ever made. After the marriage excitement settles down, We formed our organization "Spirit Circle".
In 2006, I was in a band, yeah... that didn't last too long. However, I kept writing and recording music after that on my own.
By 2007 I had started my own photography business, focusing on weddings and senior pictures to make money. In late 2007, I started working for a company called Graphic Impressions as an understudy photo editor. After working there for 2 years, I got laid off, and really questioned if the life of a photographer / photo editor, was right for me.
In 2009 after being laid off from my photo career, I kept working on my own photography business that i created back in 2007, but always drawing in between everything, just for fun. Went back to music for awhile again.
2010 My son is born! I take up crotcheting... yet another venture into some sort of craftiness.
And the art continues to rotate through my life.
Some people have natural talents at certain things, and others have to work at it. I was lucky enough to be gifted with the talents of art, and the ability to make art for others, that they really appreciate and can enjoy. And that is why I made this website. So others could enjoy my work, as well as have the oportunity to share their ideas with me, and let me create their vision.
And remember... Don't ever say, "I don't know who I am." Just because you do many things. Say, "This is who I am" because you do.
