Lea Faske grew up in the suburbs of Louisville, Kentucky, with two talented, encouraging artists as parents. At an early age, she showed an innate love for storytelling and the fictional world. As soon as she could hold a pencil, she began the path to drawing scenes and characters from books she read or narratives she wrote herself.
To this day, she illustrates elements from her own narratives as well as stray concepts, most often painted in Adobe Photoshop and other times in traditional media such as watercolor, graphite, or ink. In her personal art, she seeks to present that which cannot be seen in everyday life, to reach the unreachable, to explain what is ordinary in extraordinary ways. For this, she often tips her feet into the world of fantasy, and draws inspiration from the work of artists such as Tetsuya Nomura and Stanley Lau.
Her preferred programs are Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects.
