Mike has been designing universes and the things that go in them as far back as he can remember – and he’s doing it all the time. Very prolific, and never to be seen without a sketchbook to capture those all-of-a-sudden ideas, or to do a quick practice sketch, he draws constantly. His one true joy is creating something, and as a result has more than enough sketchbooks and art to probably build a house from.
While he is always hard at work flushing out personal works, Mike has also lent his creative talents to several different projects, serving as lead concept artist, artistic lead, sound design, story-boarder, and even a writer. In addition, in just one year alone he took in almost 200 individual artist commissions, with subjects ranging from creating reference sheets, scene illustrations, and production art. He has an Associate’s Degree in Computer Information Systems, majoring in Game Design.
He is currently seeking a more permanent place where he can share his drive to create and help make whatever needs making, while drowning his directors in mounds of art. If that sounds like something that would benefit your team or project, Mike would love to hear from you!
