Stephen Herbert Perrin (January 22, 1946 - August 13 2021) was a game designer who wrote materials for Chaosium and TSR. He is probably most famous for creating the role-playing game RuneQuest along with the role-playing games Stormbringer, Worlds of Wonder, Elfquest, and Superworld while also at Chaosium. He had also worked for Interplay Productions, Maxis, Spectrum Holobyte, FASA, Hero Games, West End Games, and Iron Crown Enterprises.
Perrin earned a bachelor's degree from San Francisco State University and had been living in Fountain Valley, California.
