Elizabeth T. Danforth, more commonly known as Liz Danforth, is an artist and game designer who has worked as a freelance artist for many different game companies mostly between 1976 and 2004. Her work has appeared in products from Wizards of the Coast, TSR, Flying Buffalo Inc., Iron Crown Enterprises, Game Designers' Workshop, and FASA Corporation.
In July 1996, she was inducted into the Academy of Gaming Arts and Design's Hall of Fame, the creative arm of the Game Manufacturer's Association. She is also a lifetime member of the Association of Science Fiction and Fantasy Artists.
She continues to work in in the game profession as an occasional freelance artist, editor, and writer. She has worked part time in the library profession since the mid-1980s, received her MLS in 2008, and presently lives in Tucson, Arizona.
