Stephen L. Lortz (September 7, 1949 - April 23, 2017) was a game designer and miniatures sculptor. He is the brother of late game designer Kurt Lortz. He is somewhat fascinated by ducks, creating a set of miniature combat rules set for anthropomorphic ducks and a line of anthropomorphic 30 millimeter duck miniatures to go with them.

He was interviewed in Different Worlds #1 magazine.
