Steven W. Creech (February 22, 1966 - May 21, 2019) was a game designer of Decatur, Indiana, who was the owner of DragonWing Games and Bastion Press. Since 2000, he had written, edited, or contributed to over 25 books in the gaming industry specializing in the fantasy games. He has written for role-playing gaming systems such as Pathfinder and Savage Worlds. In 2002, he started the publishing company DragonWing Games. In 2003, he acquired Bastion Press and its library of titles. In 2004 his book, Torn Asunder: Critical Hits won a prestigious ENnie Award. He was a member of the Academy of Adventure Gaming Arts and Sciences and one of the longest serving Awards Jury foremen.
Creech was a life-long resident of Indiana. He was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and died in Decatur, Indiana.
He died in 2019 following a traumatic brain injury.
