From the Claymore Entertainment website:
Born and raised in Wasilla, Alaska, I spent most of my first 22 years as a commercial fisherman on the pristine waters of the Prince William Sound. As a third generation fisherman, my family was heavily steeped in industry lore, techniques and special fishing areas. During that time I learned responsibility, hard work, and what it takes to be successful. When I was seven years old I had a chance encounter with a young boy named David and, after several rock fights later, we became the best of friends, and still are to this day.
During those earlier years I was introduced to my first Roll Playing Game (RPG). Of course, you guessed it...It was Dungeons and Dragons, which I immediately fell in love with and have been playing RPG's ever since. I attended Houston Jr/Sr High School in Houston, Alaska, and graduated in 1996. I had no ambitions in attending college and thought I had everything planned out for the future. I was determined to be a commercial fisherman like my father and my grandfather before me; however, I didn't anticipate meeting the woman of my dreams and changing my commercial fishing aspirations. I left the fishing industry at 22 to spend more time with my wife. I got a nine to five job working at a national retail chain store. There, I helped run the paint and hardware department where I learned about purchasing, procurement, logistics and invoicing. After four years, I left to pursue a culinary arts degree graduating at the top of my class. After graduating, I was offered a job with a catering company on the North Slope in Alaska and within a year I was promoted to Food Warehouse Manager, where I currently work today.
