From The Gazebo (Issue 2 - Aug 2012):
Rich is a long time role-player, card and boardgame collector and all-round games enthusiast. Other than gaming he is a SCUBA diver, a ski instructor, an airsoft player and generally much more active than a geek usually has any right to be.
I started roleplaying and LARPing in 1997. Since then, besides continuous table-top roleplaying, I have been involved with running three different chapters of White Wolf's Camarilla game, served on the committees of two different role-playing conventions, written, run and played in more LARPs than I can count, locally, in Europe and other places, designed game systems and settings, and play-tested commercial games for multiple publishers.
I have experience starting and running my own small businesses, and I am aware that this, although it's a hobby, is also a business, and I am prepared for that side of it too.
My love for the Wild West probably started when I entered, and won a buckle, in my first rodeo.
My colleagues in the Westlands mostly have even more roleplaying experience than I do, and between us we have a smattering of drama, administration, American History, writing and costume and set design expertise.
