I'm the creator of the comic Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal. I'm also the co-creator of the sketch comedy troupe SMBC Theater, the writer for Captain Stupendous, and I write a blog on math and physics called The Weinerworks.
So, as you can see, I've been doing stupid things on the Internet for a long time, and most of it has been given away for free!
"Zachary 'Zach' Alexander Weinersmith (born March 5, 1982 as Zachary Alexander Weiner and still using his birth name professionally) is the author and illustrator of the webcomic Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal (SMBC), currently residing in California. He is the writer of two other webcomics, the completed Captain Excelsior with artist Chris Jones, and Snowflakes, co-written by James Ashby and also illustrated by Jones. He also founded the sketch comedy group SMBC Theater with James Ashby and Marty Weiner in 2009. Weiner has been involved in writing and drawing comics since his high school years, but he premiered on the internet in around 2000. His early comics usually have three or more panels, but after 2002, he switched to drawing predominately one panel comics. He stated in an interview that he is glad to have decided to draw one panel comics because he feels three panel webcomics have become a cliche and there are almost no decent one panel comics on the internet.
Weiner's webcomic was recognized in 2006, and 2007 with the Web Cartoonists' Choice Award for Outstanding Single Panel Comic, and received nominations in 2003, and 2008.
He also cohosts the science podcast "The Weekly Weinersmith" with his wife Kelly, a parasitologist."
