An early graduate of the University of Pittsburgh’s 2008 class, Mike’s bachelor degree in Film Studies is a manifestation of his obsession with storytelling and he has always enjoyed a thorough interest in Tabletop Roleplaying because of it. Cutting his teeth on the incredible Crucible City MUX and often getting punished by his parents for high school Dungeons and Dragons games that lasted well into the early hours of the morning on school nights, after a brief hiatus from the dice during his collegiate years Mike has returned in force and is bringing his funky fictional stylings to gaming groups worldwide.
The list of games with which he is familiar is as varied as it is wide; he is a veteran player of Shadowrun, Dungeons and Dragons (3, 3.5, 4), Pathfinder, The Authority RPG, Mutants and Masterminds (1st and 2nd – you can find some of his early work at the Atomic Think Tank Forums in the form of Splits’ Marvel Handbook), Earthdawn, Black Crusade, Aberrant and Mage: Ascension to name a few, as well as a handful of independently created gaming systems. Now he’s taken his pen to the fore and his reception from the industry has been a positive one.
