I have been drawing for about seven years now! Many artists say that they’ve been drawing since they were two or three, but I can’t claim such extensive experience. I was thirteen when I picked up a ‘How to Draw Manga‘ book from Michael’s and that moment was a turning point. A butterfly effect decision that changed my life. From the moment I picked up that pencil I knew that I wanted to scribble for a living. Since then I’ve been drawing my heart out, dreaming up all kinds of characters and the stories that accompany them. I’ve grown up with art, and I can’t imagine my life without it.
I’ve also been traveling since I was eight years old. When I was but a wee tiny Madeline, my crazy family and I packed up an RV and began what would turn out to be a hectic 10+ year journey around the United States – and I’m still traveling to this day, evading the government and the assassins sent to take me down (disclaimer: Madeline Hale is not actually evading the government – or is she?)
