This adventure scenario is intended for the Lion & Dragon RPG and Dark Albion setting, but can be used with any other OSR game with a Medieval-Authentic twist. Enter Croyland, an "island" at the edge of swamplands known as The Wash. Here, a village's abbey honors St. Guthlac, a Saxon saint who inhabited these parts as a hermit. Now long-dead, his corpse is a major relic at home in the abbey. Or is it? What mystery does his original burial place hold? And are the recent missing fishermen and rumors of a strange feminine figure sighted in the area connected?
